1. Overview

What this document covers.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

The product is in active development. Features, scoring details, and eligibility checks may evolve. We publish this draft to set expectations early.

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. When we use “we”, “us”, or “our”, we refer to the operator of {{brand}}.

2. Definitions

Key terms used in these Terms.

  • “Service” means the website, pages, and any related systems we provide under the {{brand}} name.
  • “Season” means a time-bounded competition period with its own leaderboard and scoring window.
  • “Attempt” means one submitted run/solution under a Season according to Rules.
  • “Result” means the verified score produced by an Attempt under the published scoring logic.
  • “Ranking” means the public ordering of participants by Result (and tie-break rules where applicable).
  • “Prize” means the declared reward for a Season (if activated) and delivered to the verified winner.

3. Eligibility

Who may use the Service.

You must meet all eligibility requirements described in Rules and any notices on the website.

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Your participation is not prohibited by applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • You are not subject to restrictions that would prevent prize delivery or participation verification.

We may require verification steps (identity, eligibility, technical integrity) before confirming the winner or delivering any prize.

4. Accounts and access

Your responsibilities.

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

  • Provide accurate, current information when requested.
  • Use reasonable security practices to protect your account and devices.
  • Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
  • Unless explicitly permitted, one natural person uses one account and participates as themselves.

We may suspend or restrict access if we detect behavior that threatens system integrity or fairness.

5. Participation, plans, and attempts

Payments (if any) provide tools, not outcomes.

If the Service offers paid plans, they may unlock tools such as additional Attempts, analytics, or access to optional challenges. They do not improve any participant’s Result beyond the Attempts actually performed.

Within a Season, only the best Result among your allowed Attempts may count toward your Season score (as defined in Rules).

  • Plans change the number of Attempts or tooling available; they do not introduce randomness or change scoring logic.
  • If multiple Attempts are allowed, the best verified Result is used.
  • Payments are processed by third parties. We do not store full payment card details.
  • Refunds, if offered, follow the posted refund rules at the time of purchase.

6. Scoring and ranking

Deterministic scoring, public leaderboard.

Results are produced by published scoring logic or a strict rubric. There is no randomness in scoring.

Stages may have different weights (for example, Qualifiers, Semi-Final, Final). Weighting and tie-breaks are defined in Rules.

  • If a Result is reproducible under the same inputs, it must score the same.
  • Stage multipliers and bonus caps may apply as published.
  • Tie-break rules may include earliest valid submission time or additional verification steps.
  • We may audit Attempts for integrity before confirming ranking or winner status.

7. Seasons and availability

Time windows and operational changes.

Seasons may run for a defined period (for example, 14–21 days) and may run in parallel. Dates are posted on the Season page.

We may pause, extend, or roll over a Season to protect fairness, ensure verification, or if activation thresholds are not met.

  • Season duration and stages are published per Season.
  • Multiple Seasons may exist at once; your participation is scoped to each Season you join.
  • Extensions and rollovers do not erase valid participation already recorded.

8. Prizes, activation, and delivery

One winner. Verified results.

Prizes may be “activated” only when participation thresholds are reached. Activation status is displayed publicly.

If the threshold is not reached, the Season may be extended or rolled over. Participation remains valid as described on the Season page.

  • Prize activation depends on the published participation threshold and may be extended.
  • A rollover keeps your recorded Attempts; the scoring logic remains defined by Rules for that Season.
  • Before delivery, the winner may be required to complete identity and integrity verification.
  • Any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations are the winner’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Delivery details depend on location and legal feasibility. If delivery is not feasible, an equivalent alternative may be proposed.

If we determine that a Result violates Rules or integrity requirements, we may disqualify that Result and re-rank accordingly.

9. Integrity, verification, and enforcement

Fairness is the product.

We maintain technical and procedural controls to keep results verifiable and comparable across participants.

  • Automated submission, scripted interaction, or bot-driven Attempts (unless explicitly allowed in a specific challenge).
  • Tampering with scoring, timing, verification mechanisms, or leaderboard display.
  • Multiple accounts used to bypass attempt limits or enforcement actions.
  • Abuse of bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended mechanics to obtain an unfair Result.
  • Harassment, threats, or interference with other participants or staff.

Enforcement actions may include warnings, Result removal, Season disqualification, account suspension, and prize forfeiture.

10. Intellectual property and content

Ownership and licenses.

The Service, its design, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it except as permitted by law.

If you submit content (for example, feedback, messages, or materials), you grant us a limited license to use it for operating and improving the Service.

  • You may access and use the Service for its intended purpose under these Terms.
  • You remain responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights to submit it.
  • Feedback may be used without restriction to improve the system and documentation.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Limits apply to the extent permitted by law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit liability for damages arising from your use of the Service.

  • No warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or be available at any particular time.
  • No warranty regarding accuracy of non-essential informational pages during pre-release.
  • Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Season (if any), unless law requires otherwise.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

Updates are versioned.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest version published on the website.

If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice on the website.
